Why Driver Qualification Document Storage Matters

Driver qualification paperwork is a core compliance requirement. When documents are spread across shared drives, email, or paper, carriers risk losing records, exposing sensitive data, or failing an audit. Centralizing the files reduces these risks and speeds up the verification process.

Who Uses This Capability

Safety teams and compliance staff are the primary users. They upload driver licenses, medical certificates, and other qualification documents. The system keeps each driver’s files together, so the right people can find them quickly.

What SafeHaul Does

SafeHaul stores documents per driver with tenant‑isolated access rules. Only authorized users can view a driver’s files. Server‑issued signed links allow temporary, secure access. Every access is recorded in an audit log, giving carriers a clear trail of who viewed what and when.

What Carriers Should Check

  • Verify that all required documents are uploaded for each driver.
  • Confirm that access rules match your internal security policy.
  • Review audit logs regularly to detect unauthorized access.
  • Ensure that your internal system tracks document expiry dates, since SafeHaul does not do this automatically.
